Privacy and analytics

Peptide Alliance uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which pages readers use. That is the only analytics service on this site. There is no advertising pixel, no remarketing tag, and no data broker integration.

Google Analytics sets cookies beginning _ga and records a page URL, a referrer, an approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, and basic device information. IP anonymization is on. Advertising signals are denied for every visitor at all times.

Why analytics runs before you agree

This site serves a United States audience, where privacy law is an opt-out regime. Analytics runs from the first page view and you may switch it off at any time. We tell you plainly rather than asking you to dismiss a gate before you can read anything.

Opting out

The button above sets a flag in this browser, tells Google Analytics to deny analytics storage, and clears the analytics cookies already set. It applies to this browser only. Google also publishes a browser-wide opt-out add-on, and this site honors a browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal where one is sent.
