How many storefronts, and how many companies?

The 25 records in this ledger are filed under 37 storefront domains. Of those records, 5 carry more than one, and Ro names 7 websites it owns and operates in a single sentence of its own terms.

A ledger entry here is one company, not one shop front. That rule exists because the number this site rests on is a denominator: if two storefronts run by one business were recorded twice, every count on every findings page would be inflated by the difference. The census below was run on 2026-08-31 against Standard v1.1, over every record in the ledger, and the full roster sits at the foot of this page so the count can be repeated.

The number, and what it is a count of

Of 25 companies recorded, 20 are filed under a single storefront and 5 under more than one: Ro, Eden, LifeMD, Hims & Hers, SnagRx and Embody. Those 5 records account for 17 of the 37 domains.

This is a count of the domains this ledger recorded, on its date. It is not a claim that these companies operate no others. A storefront enters a record only where the company itself prints the domain as one it owns and operates, or where the domain's own pages print the same legal entity. Domains a company does not name, and domains this site has not read, are not here, and a later reading may raise the number.

Ro is the widest of them, and it is the clearest, because the list is Ro's own. Its terms of use name the seven sites in one sentence, beginning “Roman Health Ventures Inc. and its affiliates” and ending with the domains themselves. Several of those domains do not serve their own pages: a request for getroman.com returns a redirect into ro.co, and so does a request for modernfertility.com. A reader who types three different addresses arrives in one shop.

Hims & Hers is the case where a federal agency recorded the same fact independently. Its terms state that Hims & Hers Health, Inc. owns and operates the websites at hims.com and forhers.com. In September 2025 the Food and Drug Administration issued two warning letters on the same day, numbered 716567 and 716825, addressed to that one company under two trading names at one San Francisco address. Two letters, two brands, one company. The letters are recorded and dated on the Hims & Hers record under S8, which fails a seller only where an action stopped it operating, and neither letter did.

LifeMD is the case that has to be checked domain by domain. Its own structured data lists four sub-organizations, which is a claim by one site about others. What the ledger records instead is narrower and firmer: rexmd.com and shapiromd.com each print, in their own terms of use, that the site is an internet property of LifeMD, Inc. A fourth domain named in that list could not be reached at all on 2026-08-31, so it is not recorded and no claim is made about it.

How many companies say who they are

The prior question is whether a company publishes a legal name at all. Of the 25 records, 13 quote an operating entity from the company's own pages and 3 record that footer, contact, terms and privacy were read and no entity name appears on any of them: Biotech Peptides, HealthRX, Sports Technology Labs.

The remaining 9 records were never asked the question, and they are excluded from both counts rather than folded into either: Care Bare Rx, Core Peptides, CoreAge Rx, Direct Meds, Gala Health, Oak, Peptide Sciences, Swiss Chems, Synergy Rx. Against the adjusted denominator of 16 records where the check was performed, 13 publish an entity and 3 do not. Reporting 3 against 25 would state an absence for 9 companies nobody looked at, and a null is not a finding.

Criterion S6, business address, asks the adjacent question and is recorded for every seller. An entity name and an address answer different halves of the same problem: who is accountable, and where. A company that publishes one and not the other has answered half.

Why the count matters to a reader

A shopper comparing two storefronts believes they are comparing two companies. Where they are not, the comparison is between two presentations of one supplier, one prescriber network and one set of pharmacies. That is not by itself a criticism. SnagRx and Embody pass S3 on the strength of four named pharmacies printed on both storefronts, which is disclosure most of this field does not offer, and the shared operator is stated on this site only because both storefronts print it themselves. The finding is about the arithmetic, not about conduct: 37 shop fronts, and fewer companies behind them than a reader would count.

The full roster

Every record counted above, with the storefronts filed under it and the entity recorded on 2026-08-31. A blank entity is a record where the question has not been asked, and it is printed blank rather than as an absence.
