Canceling telehealth: what happens to the next charge, order and refund?
Stopping future renewals, canceling an order and receiving a refund are three different outcomes. Read each condition separately before treating a monthly subscription as a flexible monthly commitment.
Start with three separate questions
A cancellation button can stop a future renewal without reversing a payment that has already been taken. An order can already be assigned to a pharmacy even when it has not arrived. A refund policy can distinguish unused membership time from medication costs. Those differences make a single phrase such as cancel anytime insufficient to explain the commitment.
Ask what stops, when it stops and which charges remain. Then identify the party responsible for each part: the subscription company, clinical practice or dispensing pharmacy. The same brand can connect these services while separate terms govern them. A useful answer identifies the transaction and effective date instead of merely promising flexibility.
Read a real policy for both exceptions and contradictions
ElixaMD provides a useful documented example. Its policy requires cancellation notice at least 72 hours before renewal. It distinguishes monthly charges from multi-month plans and lists several refund exceptions, then includes a broader sentence restricting refunds to medical disqualification. The disagreement is in the published wording; it does not establish which answer support will give in an individual case.
The related seller record preserves the specific exceptions and the source date. The practical question is which written terms apply to the selected plan. A screenshot of an advertising claim is less complete than the plan terms, the order confirmation and a dated clarification of conflicting language. This example is an examination of public documents, not a report of a treatment or cancellation experience.
Compare the full billing sequence
For each offer, write down the first payment, the next renewal, the recurring amount and any separate medication charge. Note whether the displayed figure is a monthly charge, a monthly equivalent of a prepaid term, or a promotional first payment. A lower introductory figure cannot answer what happens after the promotion.
Also distinguish an eligibility review from an approved prescription. A payment or completed questionnaire does not establish that medication will be prescribed. The refund terms should explain the financial outcome if the clinician declines treatment, while the clinical decision itself remains with the prescriber. Changing the billing arrangement is not a substitute for discussing ongoing treatment with that clinician.
Keep evidence of the request and its result
FTC consumer guidance recommends finding cancellation instructions before subscribing, keeping copies of cancellation requests and checking subsequent statements. Its auto-renewal guidance also emphasizes checking the renewal amount, especially after a promotional period. These are recordkeeping steps; they do not promise that every canceled purchase is refundable.
Save the confirmation and the effective date together. If a company continues billing after a cancellation, the FTC describes contacting the card issuer about a disputed charge and retaining supporting records. A dispute and a refund request are distinct processes. Neither a seller ranking nor a pharmacy disclosure establishes the outcome of either process.
Peptide Alliance records public price disclosure under S7. That criterion is not a finding that a contract is inexpensive, easy to cancel or legally enforceable. Reading the price beside the billing conditions makes the record more useful without turning a disclosure check into a recommendation.
Related standard: S7. Price disclosure. Evidence for individual companies appears in the seller ledger.
Documented example: ElixaMD: pricing, pharmacy and cancellation evidence. The record identifies the company documents and their reading date.

How many peptide sellers print a price before the intake form?A large majority. A price printed on a public page is the norm in this ledger, and the records that withhold one are named on the piece, with the withholding sentence quoted.
Medical records and prescription transfers are different requestsReceiving a copy of a medical record does not transfer a prescription or authorize another refill. Identify the clinical record holder for the records request, and ask the pharmacies or prescriber separately about any prescription action.
Compounded GLP-1 labels: concentration, volume and unitsSyringe units, liquid volume and the amount of medication describe different things. A familiar syringe marking cannot establish a dose when the concentration or prescription has changed. Ask the dispensing pharmacist to reconcile the prescription, label and supplied syringe.
Oral and nasal peptides: does the evidence match the product?Evidence for a molecule does not automatically establish evidence for every product containing it. Match the exact formulation, route, strength and intended use before applying a study or an approval claim to an oral, sublingual or nasal offer.
